EHC is currently looking for a Supply Chain Administrator for a client in the south Houston, TX area.

Job Summary:

The Supply Chain Administrator is responsible for the overall implementation of the Supply Chain function of the company. The role involves maintaining strong relationships with non-inventory suppliers, communicating supplier performance standards and expectations, and working to optimize pricing and other terms with suppliers. This position supports procurement, logistics, and supplier compliance efforts. Note that this is not a buyer or purchasing position.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Support the purchasing functions by negotiating contracts, pricing, and establishing agreements with suppliers.
• Create cost savings and improve supplier efficiency by leveraging multiple procurements.
• Research and evaluate suppliers based on price, quality, selection, service, support, availability, reliability, reputation, and history.
• Develop and implement Request for Proposals (RFP) processes in line with company policies, including vetting suppliers, issuing RFPs, and evaluating proposals to meet project constraints of budget and schedule at various stages.
• Assist in negotiating contracts, resolving disputes, and developing company templates.
• Ensure all contract and compliance documentation is current, properly maintained, and compliant with company policies.
• Coordinate with staff and suppliers to ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods and services.
• Track and analyze market trends related to goods and services acquired by the company.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Undergraduate degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field, or 3+ years of relevant work experience.
• Excellent negotiation skills.
• Technical aptitude to understand goals, objectives, and their relevance to products, customers, and markets.
• Advanced skills in tools such as Microsoft Excel (including algorithms and pivot tables); experience with databases and related software.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally across diverse teams.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Experience with industrial goods inventory management.
• Positive attitude and ability to develop strong working relationships as a team player.
