Job summary

Butler America Aerospace, LLC. seeks a structural designer with 1–4 years of relevant work experience in Indiana. A BS in Engineering or Engineering Technology is required. Experience with surfacing, solid modeling, drafting, and model-based design is essential.

CAD: 3DX, CATIA V5/V6; ENOVIA LCA a plus; UG NX, PTC CREO, SolidWorks are a plus. Aerospace experience and GD&T preferred. Primary/Secondary structural design experience including sheet metal, machined and composite parts is needed, with

Qualifications

• Experience with surfacing, solid modeling, drafting, and model-based design.
• CAD Software: 3DX, CATIA V5/V6
• Primary / Secondary Structural Design experience including sheet metal, machined and composite parts
• GD&T experience preferred
• Aerospace experience preferred
• ENOVIA LCA experience a plus
• Additional CAD programs (UG NX, PTC CREO, SolidWorks) a plus
• Prior Lockheed or Sikorsky experience a plus
• Demonstrates good problem solving skills

Responsibilities

• Collaborate on primary/secondary structural design tasks.
• Support aerospace projects involving sheet metal, machined and composite parts.
• Apply GD&T principles to design calculations and drawings.
