Job summary

Butler America Aerospace L.L.C. is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer for remote work. Candidates should have 1-4 years of relevant experience and a BS in Engineering or related field. The role emphasizes surfacing, solid modeling, drafting and MBSD using multiple CAD tools.

Experience with CATIA V5/V6, 3DX, ENOVIA LCA and other CAD programs is a plus. US citizenship is required; an ongoing contract with benefits is offered.

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering or Engineering Technology or relevant engineering experience.
• Experience with surfacing, solid modeling, drafting and MBSD.
• Familiarity with CATIA V5/V6 and ENOVIA LCA is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate on mechanical design development and product integrity.
• Support primary/secondary structural design including sheet metal and composites.
• Create and manage CAD models and drawings for production.

Detailed Job Description:

• Experience with surfacing, solid modeling, drafting, and model-based design.
• CAD Software: 3DX, CATIA V5/V6
• Primary / Secondary Structural Design experience including sheet metal, machined and composite parts
• Experience with GD&T preferred
• Aerospace experience preferred
• Experience with ENOVIA LCA a plus
• Experience with additional CAD programs (UG NX, PTC CREO, SolidWorks) a plus
• Prior Lockheed or Sikorsky experience a plus
• Demonstrates good problem solving skills
