Job summary
Butler America Aerospace, LLC. seeks a structural designer with 1–4 years of relevant work experience in Indiana. A BS in Engineering or Engineering Technology is required. Experience with surfacing, solid modeling, drafting, and model-based design is essential.
CAD: 3DX, CATIA V5/V6; ENOVIA LCA a plus; UG NX, PTC CREO, SolidWorks are a plus. Aerospace experience and GD&T preferred. Primary/Secondary structural design experience including sheet metal, machined and composite parts is needed, with
Qualifications
- Experience with surfacing, solid modeling, drafting, and model-based design.
- CAD Software: 3DX, CATIA V5/V6
- Primary / Secondary Structural Design experience including sheet metal, machined and composite parts
- GD&T experience preferred
- Aerospace experience preferred
- ENOVIA LCA experience a plus
- Additional CAD programs (UG NX, PTC CREO, SolidWorks) a plus
- Prior Lockheed or Sikorsky experience a plus
- Demonstrates good problem solving skills
Responsibilities
- Collaborate on primary/secondary structural design tasks.
- Support aerospace projects involving sheet metal, machined and composite parts.
- Apply GD&T principles to design calculations and drawings.
