Job summary

Butler America Aerospace, LLC. is seeking a Manufacturing and Software Engineer with strong Teamcenter/PLM experience for our Seattle team.

The role requires 8+ years in engineering software, a BS in a related field, and deep skills in C, C++, Java, XML, JSON, ITK, BMIDE, and Teamcenter modules. You will work on Xpedition & Capital Integration initiatives, collaborate across IT and manufacturing, and contribute to advanced PLM implementations.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in software/manufacturing engineering roles.
• BS in engineering or related discipline required.
• Proficiency in C, C++, Java, XML, JSON, and Web Services.
• Extensive Teamcenter and PLM experience including BMIDE and ITK.
• Experience with SAFe and Azure DevOps; Windows and Linux environments.

Xpedition & Capital Integration

Manufacturing Engineering, Plant and Process Sims

• Highly proficient in C , C++, Java, XML, XSLT, JSON, Web Services and Teamcenter SOA architecture
• Highly proficient in ITK customization.
• Excellent knowledge of Teamcenter Data Model and BMIDE
• Excellent knowledge of various Teamcenter Modules like Requirements Management, Change Management, Structure Manager, Configuration Management, Configuration Management, IP Protection and Export Control etc.
• Experience with Teamcenter R2312 and above versions
• Highly proficient in Teamcenter Transfer Mode / Transfer Option Set.
• Proficient working in both Windows and Linux environments
• Experience with GIT for version control.
• Highly proficient with both RAC and Active Workspace customizations
• Familiarity with P&O, ACLs, Workflows, Rules, Preferences etc.
• Experience with SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) and AZURE DevOps (ADO).
• AWS skills working in PLM TC environment
• AI Exposure - any of AWS Kiro, Codex, Claude, Python, etc. skills
