Zusammenfassung

Pratt & Whitney is seeking a Transition Quality Engineer (P5) to lead quality efforts for Global Transitions hardware from contract review through First Article Inspection and PPAP approvals. You will work with suppliers to ensure affordable, high-quality parts while mitigating risk and ensuring compliance with AS13100/APQP/PPAP/KPC requirements.

The role requires extensive collaboration with PW quality teams and suppliers, with 40% travel to domestic and international bases.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree or advanced degree in a related field; minimum 7–10 years of experience depending on degree.
• Deep understanding of PW Quality Systems, ESA, MCL and manufacturing processes.
• Demonstrated experience in developing supplier relationships and improving quality signatures.

Aufgaben

• Lead quality aspects from contract review to production readiness and gate approvals (FAI/PPAP).
• Mitigate quality risk using AS9145 tools (PFMEA, PFD, PCP, MSA, KPC).
• Prevent hardware nonconformance via contract review verification and RCCA with suppliers.
• Support global transitions project managers with key quality deliverables and risk mitigation.
• Facilitate CRV and ZERO events at suppliers to ensure robust risk mitigation.
