Job summary

Pratt & Whitney is seeking a Transition Quality Engineer P4 to support the Global Transitions team from contract review through First Article Inspection approval, PPAP interim approvals, and Gate C readiness. The role emphasizes collaboration with suppliers and PW peer teams to deliver high-quality parts that meet customer needs.

You will lead quality risk assessment, drive robust RCCA, and facilitate CRV/ZERO events to reduce escapes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required; minimum 8 years in relevant roles.
• Advanced degree preferred for deeper technical focus.
• Experience with PW Quality Systems and manufacturing processes is essential.
• Proficient with MS Office, SAP, Qlik, Net Inspect, if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Lead quality initiatives across Global Transitions to ensure smooth contract review to FAI.
• Mitigate quality risk using PFMEA, PFD, PCP, MSA and KPC methods.
• Coordinate with suppliers and PW teams to ensure First Article and PPAP readiness.
• Drive RCCA and prevent nonconformances through robust CRV and ZERO events.
