Shield AI is seeking a senior leader to drive supplier quality initiatives across its aerospace and defense supplier base. You will lead a team responsible for supplier qualification, development, performance management, and quality assurance to meet engineering, regulatory, and customer requirements.

You will set quality priorities, manage team capacity and resource allocation, and guide hands-on hardware dispositions, audits, and root-cause investigations.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership of supplier quality teams in aerospace/defense contexts.
• Experience driving supplier qualification, performance management, and quality assurance programs.
• Strong problem-solving skills across nonconformances, audits, and corrective actions.

Responsibilities

• Lead supplier quality team across aerospace/defense supply base; set priorities and allocate resources.
• Oversee supplier audits, nonconformance resolution, and root-cause investigations.
• Partner with Supply Chain, Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations and Programs to reduce risk and ensure compliance.
