Shield AI is seeking a highly skilled Supplier Development Engineer to join our team, focusing on harness assemblies and electronic components. You will drive supplier development and supply chain management within aerospace, improving quality, on-time delivery, and scaling.

You will lead onboarding of suppliers to new designs, utilize PPAP, RCCA, and 5S, and travel internationally up to 50%. This full-time role offers compensation within range, bonus, benefits, and equity.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree in electrical, industrial, or mechanical engineering (or equivalent).
• Experience leading new-product industrialization and project management across engineering teams and CMs.
• Strong knowledge of wire harness and FPC/FFC assembly processes and design rules for reliable production.
• Practical experience with PPAP and RCCA, fishbone, process mapping, and 5S.
• Direct experience improving supplier or CM quality, process capability, capacity, or production execution.
