Job summary

Mercedes-Benz U.S. International, Inc. invites applications for an Internship in Supplier Quality focused on Seat commodities.

The role supports ramp-up activities at Lear, coordinates PV samples, and assists SQE in daily tasks within the Interior department. The program emphasizes hands-on quality work and cross‑functional collaboration in a manufacturing setting. Paid internship with an hourly rate of $18, visa costs coverage, and a $700 housing bonus.

Qualifications

• Student in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Business Administration or related area.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Excel, OneNote) and basic data handling.

Responsibilities

• Support ramp up of model year seats at supplier during production trials to SOP.
• Drive quality topics to closure, create summaries and report progress.
• Coordinate sample timing for Product Validation and shipping samples.
• Assist SQE staff in daily and project tasks.
• Assist in improving overall product quality through smaller improvement projects.
