Job summary

Mercedes-Benz U.S. International, Inc. in Alabama seeks a paid internship for students in engineering or business programs. You will support quality and process initiatives, coordinate with global plants, and analyze market and customer data while developing KPI reporting skills.

Eligible candidates must be enrolled in a university, have strong English, and be available for at least 6 months. Visa costs are covered and a $700 housing stipend is provided; start date is April 2027.

Qualifications

• Education: Student in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Busniness Administration or related area.
• Skills: Fluent in English (oral/written); Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
• Preferred: KPI tracking, communication, collaboration, organizational skills, process engineering knowledge, process mining.

Responsibilities

• Implement measures and processes (IQS, QFS, KPI effectiveness).
• Coordinate with plants worldwide to meet customer needs.
• Create and support market data on topics/trends.
• Analyze customer feedback.
• Track and report on Field Sensor data and Top Issues.
