Job summary

Conductix-Wampfler is seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer to ensure supplier materials meet requirements and support operational excellence across our manufacturing operations. You will lead audits, implement PPAP/FMEA/8D processes, and drive corrective actions with cross-functional teams.

The role includes traveling 40–60% to support supplier development and working with Engineering, Purchasing, and Operations to resolve quality issues and improve supplier performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in engineering, supply chain or related technical field.
• 2+ years of supplier quality, quality assurance, or related experience.
• Knowledge of PPAP, FMEA, SPC, 8D and root cause analysis.
• Experience with ISO 9001, IATF 16949, and other industry quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain supplier quality standards, processes, and procedures.
• Lead supplier audits and qualification activities to ensure compliance and performance.
• Investigate and resolve supplier quality issues using root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Monitor supplier performance metrics and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Partner with Engineering, Purchasing, and Operations to resolve quality concerns and improve supplier performance.
• Support supplier improvement plans and ensure compliance with company and industry quality standards.
• Travel domestically and internationally to support supplier development activities (40-60% travel).
• Lead efforts to qualify new suppliers, audit supplier quality management systems, and drive corrective and preventive actions.
