Job summary

Trane Technologies is seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer on site in Columbia, SC. The role focuses on qualifying suppliers, driving improvements, and ensuring materials meet quality and delivery requirements. You will collaborate with sourcing, manufacturing, engineering, and quality teams.

The ideal candidate has a background in supplier quality, process engineering, and experience with PPAP/APQP, FMEA, SPC, MSA, and CAPA. Travel to supplier locations may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience.
• Experience in supplier quality, supplier development, or manufacturing quality.
• Strong knowledge of quality tools and methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Lead supplier qualification, assessment, onboarding, and development for new and existing suppliers.
• Monitor and improve supplier performance in quality, delivery, and process capability.
• Conduct supplier audits and CAPA/root-cause analysis.
