Job summary

Dogwood Industries LLC in Everett, WA seeks an experienced Supplier Quality Engineer (SQE) to bolster supplier quality, drive corrective actions, and lead audits. Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (Quality, Manufacturing, Engineering, Industrial Technology, or related field) preferred
• Understanding of paint, galvanizing and welding processes
• Minimum 2-5 years of experience in quality assurance, process improvement, or manufacturing
• Experience working in steel fabrication, manufacturing, or construction industries preferred
• Experience with ISO 9001 or similar quality management systems is a plus
• Strong understanding of quality control processes, procedures, and documentation
• Experience using ERP systems for quality tracking and reporting
• Understanding of root cause analysis, corrective actions, and continuous improvement methodologies
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
• Effective written and verbal communication skills, able to collaborate across departments
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, SharePoint, PowerPoint)

Responsibilities

• Lead supplier qualification/approval processes and monitor KPIs
• Develop and maintain supplier qualification processes and records
• Plan, conduct, and document supplier audits for compliance
• Manage supplier nonconformances and corrective actions across departments
• Support ISO 9001, AISC certifications, and QMS activities
• Develop quality procedures, work instructions, and SOPs
• Collaborate with Engineering, Production, and Procurement to define quality requirements
• Maintain quality records and generate reports for KPIs and defects trends
• Assist with ERP integration related to quality data
• Perform additional duties as assigned
