Job summary

American Rheinmetall is seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer to support new product development and manufacturing by applying quality engineering methods. You will interface regularly with suppliers, support plant activities on supplier issues, and drive corrective actions with a focus on process improvement.

The role requires APQP/PPAP participation, PPAP/FAI documentation, and knowledge of AS9100/IS14001 standards.

Qualifications

• Problem-solving and analysis abilities demonstrated by experience.
• Knowledge in the use and application of SPC.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and GD&T.
• Experience with APQP/PPAP, FMEA, Control Plans and quality documentation.

Responsibilities

• Support adherence to quality management systems and maintain documentation.
• Participate in APQP reviews and ensure customer quality requirements are met.
• Lead corrective/preventive actions and drive root cause analysis.
• Prepare PPAP, FAI, FMEAs, Control Plans and quality records.
