Job summary

Schindler is seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer in Hanover, PA to ensure supplier quality and drive continuous improvement. The role involves auditing suppliers, analyzing performance metrics, and coordinating CAPA actions across engineering, production, and procurement teams.

You will build strong supplier relationships and guide process improvements to reduce waste and risks in the supply chain, contributing to sustainable, high-quality product delivery.

Qualifications

• ASQ Certified Quality Engineer credential required or equivalent.
• Lean Six Sigma certification preferred.
• Engineering understanding of mechanical and electrical systems; ability to read prints.

Responsibilities

• Conduct supplier audits to assess quality systems, manufacturing processes and compliance with standards.
• Develop and maintain supplier audit schedules and reports.
• Track supplier performance metrics (defect rates, delivery reliability, responsiveness) and report findings.
• Lead CAPA and root-cause analysis (8D, Fishbone, Five Whys) and drive corrective actions.
