Job summary

Schindler Elevator Corporation is seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer in Hanover, PA. You will conduct supplier audits, analyze quality data, and drive improvements across the supply base to ensure adherence to Schindler standards.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in engineering, ASQ CQE, and Lean Six Sigma certification, with experience in SAP and supplier quality management. This is an on-site position offering strong benefits and development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
• ASQ Certified Quality Engineer certification.
• Lean Six Sigma certification or equivalent.
• Engineering understanding (mechanical and electrical; print reading).
• Experience in Supplier Quality Management and data analysis.
• Strong Excel and data mining skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct supplier audits to assess quality systems and processes.
• Develop and maintain supplier audit schedules and reports.
• Track supplier performance metrics and communicate results.
• Lead root cause analysis using 8D, Fishbone, and Five Whys.
• Coordinate CAPA implementation with suppliers and internal teams.
• Collaborate with engineering, production and procurement to resolve issues.
