Schindler Group is seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer in Hanover, PA to ensure supplier quality and drive continuous improvement. You will audit supplier quality systems, track performance, and lead root-cause analyses with cross-functional teams.

You will collaborate with engineering, production, and procurement to resolve issues, implement CAPAs, and guide suppliers on specifications and testing requirements. A strong quality background and SAP knowledge are essential.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree is required.
• ASQ Certified Quality Engineer is required or preferred.
• Lean Six Sigma certification is required or preferred.
• Engineering understanding (mechanical and electrical; print reading) is required.
• Experience in Supplier Quality Management is required.
• Strong analytical skills and Excel proficiency are required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required.
• Working knowledge of SAP or equivalent is preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct supplier audits to assess quality systems and processes.
• Develop and maintain supplier audit schedules and reports.
• Track supplier performance metrics (defect rates, delivery, responsiveness).
• Maintain supplier scorecards and communicate results to suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Lead root cause analysis (8D, Fishbone, Five Whys).
• Coordinate CAPA and drive corrective/preventive actions with suppliers.
• Work with suppliers to implement process improvements and reduce waste.
• Provide technical guidance on product specs, quality standards, and testing requirements.
