Slate is seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer for Accessories in Troy, MI. You will drive the APQP/PPAP process, manage supplier readiness, and lead containment actions to ensure high-quality Slate Maker accessories.

Collaboration with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Program Management is essential to meet milestones and deliver conforming parts. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in supplier quality, strong GD&T/MSA knowledge, and excellent communication in a fast-paced startup-like environment.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree required with 5+ years in supplier quality for vehicles or products.
• Experience with accessories, APQP/PPAP, and supplier readiness assessments.
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage full APQP process for assigned accessories supplier portfolio.
• Drive PPAP submissions/approvals and monitor program milestones.
• Lead containment and corrective actions for quality issues.
• Coordinate inspections, audits, and supplier readiness metrics.
• Interpret GD&T drawings and support MSA and Cpk/Ppk reporting.
