Job summary

Slate Auto LLC seeks an experienced Supplier Quality Engineer (SQE), Accessories – Slate Maker, to drive supplier quality across the accessories portfolio in the USA. You will own APQP/PPAP processes, lead supplier audits, containment and corrective actions, and partner with Engineering, Manufacturing and Program Management to deliver high-quality, customizable Slate Maker components.

Applicants must have an engineering degree or equivalent, 5+ years in supplier quality for vehicle or product

Qualifications

• Engineering degree or equivalent is required.
• 5+ years of supplier quality experience in automotive or related launches.
• Experience with APQP, PPAP, supplier readiness assessments.
• Ability to read GD&T and engineering drawings; analyze dimensional data.

Responsibilities

• Lead APQP/PPAP processes for assigned accessories suppliers.
• Drive supplier readiness against program milestones and containment actions.
• Conduct supplier audits and coordinate cross-functional reviews with Engineering, Manufacturing and Program Management.
• Monitor quality metrics and drive continuous improvement across Slate Maker components.
