Schneider Electric is hiring a Supplier Quality Engineer to serve as the technical expert ensuring supply chain excellence. You will lead quality operations, drive supplier corrective actions, and enable fast, data-driven decisions with plant teams.

The role emphasizes root cause analysis, PPAP validation, containment and governance of supplier-related issues, with a focus on delivering measurable improvements in material quality and process stability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
• Experience in supplier quality or quality functions.
• Manufacturing knowledge for mechanical components.
• Knowledge of 8D, PPAP, QMS, Auditing.
• Proficient in Excel and data extraction.
• Strong communication and influence skills.
• Able to work in a matrix organization.

Responsibilities

• Own corrective action processes with suppliers including 8D follow-up and root cause validation.
• Ensure containment, correction and mitigation plans with timelines and accountability.
• Coordinate RMA processes and supplier return authorizations.
• Monitor supplier quarantined material and quick disposition.
• Perform PPAP approvals including documentation review.
• Track and document supplier quality issues and drive closure.
• Build relationships with plant teams for quick decisions.
• Continuously assess supplier performance and drive improvements.
