Reporting to: Global Procurement & Logistics Manager

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will lead supplier assessments, drive corrective and preventive actions based on supplier maturity and performance, and manage operational supplier quality both on-site and off-site. You will oversee supplier qualification, development processes, and manage supplier KPIs.

The work model for this role is hybrid, contributing to the Electrification Installation Products division in North America. You will be mainly accountable for:

1. Establishing and executing strategies with plants and sourcing to improve incoming quality and manage the supplier quality lifecycle.
2. Performing Supplier Quality Audits to ensure compliance with ABB standards.
3. Driving problem-solving initiatives using Root Cause Analysis / 8D process.
4. Setting targets and driving improvements in supplier quality metrics such as DPPM and NCRs.

Qualifications for the role

• Bachelor's degree in engineering.
• Minimum 3 years in Supplier or Manufacturing Quality, with experience in supplier quality issues.
• Preferred experience with raw materials, plastics, sheet metal, castings, fasteners, and knowledge of standards like IATF 16949.
• Strong communication skills in English, with problem-solving and change management abilities.
• Work authorization for employment in the US.
