Job description

Key Responsibilities:

1. Supplier Quality Governance
2. - Oversee end-to-end quality management for assigned strategic suppliers across APAC region
3. - Implement supplier scorecard system to monitor KPIs including PPM, OTD, and corrective action closure rate
4. Product Quality Assurance:
5. - Lead pre-shipment inspection programs in compliance with AQL standards (MIL-STD-105/ANSI Z1.4)
6. - Conduct comprehensive product evaluations covering:
7. • Safety & regulatory compliance (CPSC, ASTM, EN71)
8. • Functional performance validation
9. - Generate detailed technical reports with CTQ measurements for global stakeholders
10. - A background in the automotive industry is preferred
11. - Lead root cause analysis (8D methodology) for quality incidents and production non-conformances
12. - Drive CAPA implementation through onsite supplier coaching and process audits
13. - Develop supplier quality improvement roadmaps with measurable milestones
14. Cross-functional Collaboration
15. - Serve as technical liaison between US engineering teams and APAC suppliers
16. - Facilitate NPI quality planning for design transfers and first article approvals
17. - Conduct gemba walks for real-time production process optimization
18. - Champion lean manufacturing initiatives (Six Sigma, Kaizen) at supplier sites
19. - Analyze quality trends using statistical tools (SPC, Pareto analysis)
20. - Lead supplier quality summits for best practice sharing
