Job summary
Bendix Commercial Vehicle Systems LLC is seeking a Supervisor, Supplier Quality Development Engineering to lead supplier quality initiatives in Bowling Green and across NA. You will drive APQP, audits, and continuous improvement with suppliers, ensuring adherence to AIAG modules and TS16949/ISO standards.
The role requires hands-on leadership, 3+ years supervising, and 5+ years in automotive quality, with strong analytical and communication skills.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering/Science/Industrial Management.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in automotive quality.
- Minimum 3 years of supervisor experience.
- Experience in several AIAG modules.
- Knowledge of IS9000:2000 and TS16949 standards.
Responsibilities
- Lead improvement & development activities with Bendix North America Suppliers (United States, Mexico, Canada, India, China, Europe).
- Supervise direct reports to ensure tasks and priority issues are tracked and resolved on time.
- APQP on new product/transitions for Bowling Green plant and other plants in MF, IC and other categories.
- Act as liaison between suppliers, group, and plant buyers, quality and engineering.
