Job summary

Bendix Commercial Vehicle Systems LLC, part of the Knorr-Bremse Group, is hiring a Supervisor, Supplier Quality Development Engineering. On-site role overseeing supplier quality across multiple regions, leading improvement activities and APQP for new products at Bowling Green and beyond.

The role requires expertise in stamping, machining, and forging, plus AIAG module experience, auditing, and strong leadership. Competitive salary with extensive benefits is provided.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of hands-on manufacturing experience in stamping, machining, and/or forging processes.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in the automotive Tier 1 quality field.
• Minimum 3 years of supervisor experience.
• Experience in several AIAG modules; preferred across all modules.
• Auditing experience (PSA and VDA) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead improvement and development activities with Bendix North America Suppliers (U.S., Mexico, Canada, India, China, Europe).
• Oversee suppliers in SMF categories and other manufacturing processes.
• Coordinate APQP for new products/transitions for Bowling Green and related plants.
• Act as liaison between suppliers, group, and plant quality/engineering; mediate disputes.
• Conduct supplier/source audits and product safety audits; ensure on-time closure of issues.
