Job summary

3M is seeking a Co-packing, Filling & Assembly Supplier Performance Specialist to drive supplier performance, issue resolution, and continuous improvement at the Maplewood, MN site. This on-site role requires collaboration with internal teams and external suppliers to deliver cost savings and reliable supply.

You’ll leverage project management and data analysis, manage supplier qualification for NPIs, and support procurement with governance and risk modeling.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering, Supply Chain or Procurement.
• Five (5) years of manufacturing experience, Procurement, Supply Chain in a private, public, government or military environment.
• Current, valid Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Supplier performance management and service-level execution.
• Managing and monitoring supplier material issue resolution.
• Utilizing project manage skills for savings and productivity via VAVE.
• Providing technical procurement support.
• NPI/CMP supplier qualification and launch readiness.
• Driving supplier continuous improvement initiatives.
• Asset management and supplier database ownership.
• Improved service escalation governance and intake processes.
• Supplier risk modeling and supply chain resiliency.
