Job summary

Bare Home in Minnesota is seeking a Supplier Performance Manager to build and run our supplier performance system, including scorecards, OTIF controls, and cost optimization. You will partner with Sourcing, Quality Control, Product Development, Planning, and Finance to shape vendor strategy and accountability.

You will lead cross-functional efforts to stand up new factories, drive cost improvements, and enforce contracts while managing timelines and risk across multiple countries and product

Qualifications

• 5–10+ years in supplier performance, supplier development, or strategic sourcing in soft goods, home textiles, apparel, or adjacent manufacturing.
• Hands-on experience standing up multiple new factories and managing scale.
• Dual-country or dual-factory sourcing experience (China plus another country).
• Negotiation driven by cost models rather than quotes.
• Project management across factories and internal teams.
• Comfort with data, audits, and QBRs; attention to detail and timelines.
• Collaborative partner who builds the system with sourcing and compliance teams.

Responsibilities

• Build and own the supplier performance system: scorecards, monthly reviews and QBRs, root-cause analysis, corrective action, and volume-shift recommendations.
• Install and track OTIF, quality, sample-turn, cost, and responsiveness metrics with clear escalation paths.
• Incorporate remedies into supplier contracts and enforce them.
• Define target supplier profiles, build short lists, negotiate terms, assess capability fit, and apply kill criteria.
• Stand up multiple new suppliers per year and run parallel factory sampling to select a winner.
• Write and run a qualification playbook moving commercial, capability/audit, quality, color, testing, packaging, and logistics in parallel.
