Job summary

Safran is seeking a Senior Supplier Performance Manager to lead supplier performance initiatives across our U.S. operations.

You will drive on-time delivery, quality, and operational excellence by guiding supplier assessments, development programs, and escalation processes with cross-functional teams. Based in Sarasota, FL or Twinsburg, OH, you will monitor risk, partner with engineering and procurement, and drive APQP/Lean improvements through site visits, audits, and progress reporting to

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related discipline is required.
• 8+ years of professional experience in Supply Chain, Supplier Management, Program Management or Supplier Development.
• Strong knowledge of supply chain operations, procurement strategies, and supplier relationship management.
• Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., SAP) and logistics performance measurement tools such as LOB and WIP trackers.

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute supplier performance initiatives to ensure on-time delivery, quality and operational excellence.
• Manage supplier assessments, development programs and escalation processes per Safran strategies.
• Serve as primary contact for critical supplier improvement activities and collaborate across internal teams.
• Support crisis management and recovery for underperforming suppliers to protect delivery schedules and quality.
• Communicate performance risks, progress updates and improvement plans to leadership and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Evaluate supplier risk and define monitoring plans per established procedures.
• Conduct annual and monthly performance reviews and supplier site visits/audits to assess capability and compliance.
• Coach suppliers on APQP, Lean principles and process optimization for sustainable improvements.
• Partner with Engineering, Commodity Managers and Operations to ensure sourcing alignment and ramp-ups.
