Job summary

ScanSource is seeking a Supplier Business Development Specialist to recruit and enable new and current customers, support internal sales, and strengthen supplier relationships to drive revenue growth. Travel is required and you will interact with supplier reps, the sales team, and management.

The role emphasizes growth strategies, pipeline monitoring, and accurate forecasting. A four-year degree is preferred, with SAP/Salesforce experience and multilingual capabilities a plus.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in supplier, sales or business development
• Experience with distribution channel strategies in a customer-facing role
• Strong communications skills
• Self-motivated with ability to prioritize and execute
• Experience with financial reporting and forecasting; proficiency in Microsoft Excel

Responsibilities

• Drive business to achieve supplier revenue and growth goals
• Develop growth and retention strategies to increase share of wallet and relationships
• Recruit new customers and grow existing customer base
• Maintain high profile for assigned supplier to foster relationships
• Present ScanSource message in meetings or events
• Monitor pipeline and performance to goals
• Maintain product knowledge of assigned suppliers and competitors
• Collaborate with sales to ensure proper account coverage
• Regular attendance as an essential function of the role
