Job summary

Airbus Americas, Inc. is seeking a Supplier Development Manager in Mobile, AL to drive supplier improvement, quality, and risk management across GP activities in the US.

The role collaborates with multiple Airbus organizations, plants and external suppliers to enhance supply chain robustness. The candidate will oversee audits, improvement plans, and performance evaluations, while traveling as needed to supplier sites domestically and internationally.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field; equivalent experience considered.
• Able to lead continuous improvement and supplier development initiatives.
• Strong understanding of quality management and lean principles.

Responsibilities

• Develop and drive supplier improvement plans and roadmaps.
• Conduct supplier site audits and coordinate corrective actions.
• Lead supplier performance reviews and risk mitigations.
• Coordinate cross-functional activities with procurement, manufacturing and programs.
