Job summary

Bracco Medical Technologies in Eden Prairie, MN is seeking a Supplier Development Engineering Co-op to support supplier quality, delivery, and process improvement initiatives within a regulated medical device environment. You will work with contract manufacturers, gather data, and help develop dashboards and reports.

This paid internship offers hands-on exposure to cross-functional teams, training on regulatory requirements (FDA, MDR), and opportunities to contribute to continuous improvement

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Quality Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and other Microsoft Office applications.
• Excellent organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in collecting and analyzing supplier quality, delivery, and performance data.
• Support supplier assessments by gathering manufacturing, quality, and capacity information.
• Participate in supplier improvement projects focused on quality, cost, delivery, and process capability.
• Help develop reports, dashboards, and performance metrics used to monitor supplier performance.
• Assist with supplier capacity analysis and risk assessments.
• Support investigations into supplier-related quality issues by documenting findings and corrective actions.
• Participate in continuous improvement activities and problem-solving initiatives using structured methodologies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Sourcing, Quality, Manufacturing, Regulatory Affairs, Product Development, and Supplier Development.
