Job summary

Qualifications

• Undergraduate students enrolled in a manufacturing, Industrial, mechanical, electrical, or biomedical engineering four-year degree program entering their third year.

Responsibilities

• Assist in design, development, and improvement of manufacturing processes for medical device systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify process enhancements, cost-saving initiatives, and quality improvements.
• Participate in root cause analysis and problem-solving to address manufacturing issues.
• Execute and support continuous improvement projects to optimize overall manufacturing performance and reduce waste.
• Assist in creating and maintaining manufacturing documentation, including work instructions and SOPs.
• Collaborate with engineering to design, fabricate and implement manufacturing assembly aids and test fixtures.
• Contribute to development and execution of process validation and verification activities.
