Job summary

Bracco Medical Technologies is seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Co-op to support the manufacturing of medical device capital equipment in Eden Prairie, MN. You will assist in designing and improving processes, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and contribute to continuous improvement projects to reduce waste and improve quality.

The role emphasizes root cause analysis, documentation, and hands-on manufacturing support within a regulated medical device environment.

Qualifications

• Pursuing an undergraduate engineering degree in manufacturing, industrial, mechanical, electrical, or biomedical fields.
• Third year of study required, four-year program.

Responsibilities

• Assist in design, development, and improvement of manufacturing processes for medical device systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process enhancements and cost-saving initiatives.
• Participate in root cause analysis and problem-solving to address manufacturing issues.
• Execute and support continuous improvement projects to optimize overall manufacturing performance and reduce waste.
• Assist in creating and maintaining manufacturing documentation (work instructions, SOPs).
• Collaborate with engineering to design, fabricate and implement assembly aids and test fixtures.
• Contribute to development and execution of process validation and verification activities.
