Job summary

Healthy Choice Wellness in Wichita, KS is seeking a Supplements Lead to oversee the daily operations of the supplements and wellness department within our organic grocery store.

In this role you will manage ordering, inventory, and staff scheduling while ensuring top-tier customer service and strict adherence to organic standards. You will train associates, coordinate with vendors, and uphold FDA and industry compliance in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• 3 years leadership experience, preferably in Supplements/Nutrition.
• Ability to lead and motivate a team.
• Experience in retail sales or grocery environments.
• Strong communication with store manager, supplements associates, and team members.
• Customer service skills with ability to engage diverse clientele.
• Able to lift up to 40 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Familiarity with stock management and retail math concepts is advantageous.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of multitasking in a busy retail setting.

Responsibilities

• Oversee ordering, receiving, and stocking of supplements and wellness products.
• Maintain accurate inventory levels and monitor expiration dates.
• Supervise, train, and schedule department team members.
• Provide customers with general product information and education (without medical advice).
• Ensure products meet company standards for organic, natural, and ethical sourcing.
• Collaborate with vendors and buyers to introduce new products.
• Maintain department cleanliness, organization, and visual standards.
• Ensure compliance with FDA, DSHEA, and company policies.
• Track sales, margins, and department performance goals.
• Other duties as required.
