NAVAIR China Lake is seeking a Supervisory Program Analyst in the Ordnance Test & Evaluation Division. You will provide technical oversight and management direction for propulsion, non-destructive testing, and related engineering activities, ensuring safe and effective ordnance test and evaluation.

You will lead about 100 staff, develop long-range T&E goals, document procedures, and make recommendations for field testing.

• Must supervise and lead division staff across propulsion, radiographic, shock and vibration, climatic, detonation physics and warhead testing.
• Responsible for developing long-range Test and Evaluation goals, plans and objectives.
• Ensure thorough documentation including SOPs, test plans, procedures, QA metrics, and cost estimates.

You will serve as a SUPERVISORY PROGRAM ANALYST in the ORDNANCE TEST & EVALUATION DIVISION, WEAPONS & ENERGETICS DEPARTMENT of NAVAIRWARCENWPNDIV CHINA LAKE.

Position Duties/Responsibilities

• You will serve as Division Head, providing technical oversight and management direction for propulsion, non-destructive test and evaluation in the areas of radiography, environmental conditioning, and shock and vibration.
• You will be held accountable for overall management of the Division, developing long-range Test and Evaluation goals, plans and objectives for the Division, and for the success of ordnance Test and Evaluation activities.
• You will exercise supervisory responsibilities for approximately 100 Division staff in Test and Evaluation (propulsion, radiographic, shock and vibration, climatic, detonation physics, warhead testing, and related engineering activities).
• You will ensure documentation for test activities is thorough and accurate, including standard operating procedures, test plans, test procedures, quality assurance metrics, cost estimates, etc.
• You will make recommendations for field testing, using sub- or full-scale weapons to meet the requirements of program.
