Job summary

NAVAIRWARCENAC DIV. seeks a Supervisory Electrical Engineer to lead the Propulsion and Power Engineering Department. You will provide authoritative input on engineering issues to ensure aviation system requirements are met and develop objectives for integration of current and future capabilities.

You will coordinate and assign work to subordinates, supervise staff, and perform official supervisory duties while handling other duties as assigned. Position open in Patuxent River area.

• Develop project-planning objectives for engineering development and integration of current and future capabilities for aviation systems.
• Coordinate and assign work to subordinates based on priorities, complexity and staff capabilities.
• Supervise and perform official supervisory responsibilities for subordinates.
• Accomplish other duties as assigned.

Job description

You will serve as a Supervisory Electrical Engineer in the Propulsion and Power Engineering Department of NAVAIRWARCENAC DIV.

Position Duties/Responsibilities

• You will provide authoritative input and advice on all engineering and technical issues to ensure aviation system engineering requirements are met.
• You will develop project-planning objectives for engineering development and integration of current and future capabilities for assigned aviation systems.
• You will be responsible for coordinating and assigning work assignments to subordinates, based on organizational priorities, selective consideration of difficulty and requirements of assignments, and/or capabilities of employees.
• You will supervise and perform official supervisory responsibilities for assigned subordinates.
• You will accomplish other duties as assigned.
