Job summary

NAVAIR China Lake is seeking a Supervisory Program Analyst in the Ordnance Test & Evaluation Division. You will provide technical oversight and management direction for propulsion, non-destructive testing, and related engineering activities, ensuring safe and effective ordnance test and evaluation.

You will lead about 100 staff, develop long-range T&E goals, document procedures, and make recommendations for field testing.

Qualifications

• Must supervise and lead division staff across propulsion, radiographic, shock and vibration, climatic, detonation physics and warhead testing.
• Responsible for developing long-range Test and Evaluation goals, plans and objectives.
• Ensure thorough documentation including SOPs, test plans, procedures, QA metrics, and cost estimates.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical oversight and management direction for propulsion, radiography, environmental conditioning, and shock and vibration.
• Develop long-range T&E goals, plans, and objectives for the division and program success.
• Supervise approximately 100 division staff across T&E engineering activities.
• Ensure documentation for test activities is thorough and accurate (SOPs, test plans, QA metrics, cost estimates).
• Recommend field testing using sub- or full-scale weapons to meet program requirements.
