One year of specialized experience which includes 1.) Developing architectural designs, Structural/Comprehensive Interior Design (SID/CID) specifications, and Building Information Modeling (BIM)/CADD drawings for facility renovations and new construction; 2.) Reviewing and evaluating Architect-Engineer (A-E) plans, specifications, submittals, and shop drawings to ensure compliance with building codes and Unified Facilities Criteria; 3.) Conducting on-site facility investigations, condition assessments, and construction evaluations to resolve architectural, interior finish, and life safety deficiencies; and 4.) Providing technical advisory services, coordinating multidisciplinary engineering requirements, and evaluating building materials, finishes, and furniture, fixtures, or other equipment (FF&E) requirements. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12).
