The Supervisory Intelligence Research (Branch Chief) position is with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives in Washington, DC. It leads the Office of Intelligence Operations, Analysis Production Branch, directing complex intelligence research and analysis to support investigative operations and senior leadership awareness.

This position is located in the Office of Intelligence Operations, Operational Intelligence Division, Analysis Production Branch located in Washington, DC. The primary function is to collect, evaluate, analyze, and disseminate criminal information and intelligence as finished analytical products for investigative support to field divisions and senior leadership awareness.
The major duties of the Supervisory Intelligence Research (Branch Chief) position include, but are not limited to, the following: Exercises supervisory responsibility over employees and non-supervisory intelligence personnel engaged in complex intelligence research and analysis as well as related administrative support work and develop overall program and/or project objectives, goals, resource requirements, and milestones for all intelligence aspects of the branch's programs.
Plan and oversee intelligence projects, predictive analysis projects and initiatives that concern programs and associates activities in other Federal, State, local and international law enforcement and regulatory agencies and organizations.
Performs complex, in-depth analysis and/or directs and coordinates intelligence working groups on significant issues that impact functions and programs of national and international significance, particularly those encompassing programs of the branch. Review, evaluate, and recommend improvements to the intelligence analysis process. Advises management on significant issues pertaining to program and products, such as new initiatives.

The posted pay range is $143913 - $187093/yr.
