A-dec is seeking a seasoned Warehouse Operations Leader to drive cross-functional warehouse activities supporting manufacturing across locations. You will lead a team, manage inventory accuracy, and oversee KPI-driven performance to meet safety, quality, and delivery goals.

Responsibilities

  • Lead daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, inventory control, and material movement to meet production and delivery requirements.
  • Coordinate material flow and distribution across warehouse locations and production areas to ensure continuity of supply.
  • Ensure accurate and timely inventory management, including system transactions, cycle counting, and discrepancy resolution.
  • Monitor and drive performance through KPIs (safety, quality, delivery, productivity, cost, and attendance).
  • Identify and resolve operational issues related to inventory, workflow, staffing, and material flow.
  • Lead, coach, and develop team members; support performance management, training, onboarding, and engagement.
  • Manage workforce administration, including timekeeping, attendance, and scheduling.
  • Partner cross-functionally with HR to address employee relations and staffing challenges.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements, including safe operation of PIT.
  • Drive continuous improvement using lean principles to improve cost, inventory accuracy, and efficiency.

Overview

Responsible for the effective execution of warehouse operations supporting manufacturing across one or more locations, including receiving, storage, inventory control, and material distribution. Leads a cross-functional team and coordinates material flow to ensure alignment with safety, quality, and delivery objectives. Drives operational performance through leadership, workforce management, process discipline, and continuous improvement.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, inventory control, and material movement, to meet production and delivery requirements.
  • Coordinate material flow and distribution across warehouse locations and production areas to ensure continuity of supply.
  • Ensure accurate and timely inventory management, including system transactions, cycle counting, and discrepancy resolution.
  • Monitor and drive performance through KPIs (such as; safety, quality, delivery, productivity, cost, and attendance); communicate results and take corrective action.
  • Identify and resolve operational issues related to inventory, workflow, staffing, and material flow; elevate systemic issues as needed.
  • Lead, coach, and develop team members; support performance management, training, onboarding, and employee engagement.
  • Manage workforce administration, including timekeeping, attendance, and scheduling to meet operational demands.
  • Partner cross-functionally and with HR to address employee relations, staffing needs, and operational challenges.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies, including safe operation of material handling equipment (PIT).
  • Drive continuous improvement using lean principles; support cost control, inventory accuracy, and operational efficiency.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Working knowledge of ERP and warehouse management systems (WMS).
  • Working knowledge of safety standards and material handling practices.

Education and Experience

  • 5+ years of experience in warehouse, logistics, or manufacturing operations.
  • 3+ years of leadership or supervisory experience.
  • Experience with ERP systems and inventory management.
  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, logistics, operations, business, or related field preferred. Equivalent combinations of education, training, and relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting multi-location or complex warehouse operations.
  • Experience with lean manufacturing or continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Lean, Six Sigma, or related certification.
