Eversource is seeking an experienced supervisor for substation construction, maintenance, and repair. You will lead crews, coordinate staffing and materials, ensure asset reliability, and input data accurately into our databases.
The role emphasizes safety, performance reviews, and collaboration to resolve customer issues, with on-call and potential weekend shift requirements. A bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is required.

Provides leadership for the construction, maintenance, and repair of substation equipment.
Analyzes historical inspection, maintenance, test and operational data to establish appropriate maintenance requirements for equipment.
Actively promotes and enforces a safety-first work environment and positive safety culture.
Engages and motivates employees to deliver the best possible customer experience.
Working knowledge of methods, work practices, and procedures regarding the safe construction, operation, and maintenance of electric T&D facilities and infrastructure at both secondary and primary operating voltages. Detailed knowledge of power system maintenance and operation. Must have a strong knowledge of computers and related technology and have the ability to learn and utilize available information technologies. Ability to use PC desktop applications (e.g., Microsoft Word & Excel). Possesses strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Bachelor’s Degree or the equivalent related experience is required.
Five (5) or more years of experience is required. Experience in the operation and maintenance of substation facilities is preferred. Previous supervisory experience is strongly preferred.
Valid motor vehicle operator’s license required.
Must be available to work emergency restoration assignment as required. Must be available to travel between MA/CT/NH as necessary. Work is conducted outside, in varied conditions and terrain including adverse weather conditions, and in a normal office environment which requires sitting, walking, standing, stair climbing and completion of paperwork. Drives to various job site locations and customer premises to supervise work, and review or discuss construction job requirements. May work with computers for long periods of time during the day. At times requires working long hours in response to outage situations and shift coverage requirements.

Salary is commensurate with your experience. This position is eligible for a potential incentive.
The annual salary range for this position is: $126,820.00-$140,910.00
Regular Number of Openings: 1 Emergency Response: Responding to emergency situations to meet customers’ needs is part of every employee’s role. If employed, you will be given an Emergency Restoration assignment. This means you may be called to assist during an emergency outside of your normal responsibilities, work hours and location.
