The role focuses on efficient cleaning, packaging, sterilization, and distribution of surgical instruments according to strict standards. Minimum one year of sterile processing experience is required; CRCST or CSPDT certification within one year post-hire is expected.

Required Education:
Minimum: High School Diploma or Equivalent Preferred: Vocational/Technical School Degree
Required Experience:
Minimum: 1 year sterile processing experience
Required Certification/License/Registry:
Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST) credential from the Healthcare Sterile Processing Association (HSPA) [formerly the International Association of Healthcare Central Service Materiel Management (IAHCSMM)] or the Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician (CSPDT) credential from the Certification Board For Sterile Processing and Distribution (CBSPD) within one (1) year post-hire
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS. Completion of a sterile processing course and/or a vocational/technical school diploma/degree in surgical technology.More than one (1) year of sterile processing experience.Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential from the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA).
