Job summary

Bally's Quad Cities Casino & Hotel in Rock Island, IL seeks a Shift Supervisor to support guest satisfaction and daily operations. You will lead a team, handle customer inquiries, manage POS and wagering tasks, and ensure safety compliance. Occasional nights, weekends and holidays are required; background check and regulatory credentials may be needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Two years of supervisor experience preferred.
• Must be able to obtain regulatory credentials from the Illinois Gaming Board.
• Must pass a proficiency test on Sports Book wagering machines after training.

• Must be able to work in a fast-paced and noisy environment.

• As a Shift Supervisor you will support operational excellence and strive to consistently exceed customer expectations
• Take the lead, with responsibilities that range from assisting customers to supporting the sports book team
• Inspire associates to have fun while delivering a great guest experience

• Provide recognition and constructive feedback throughout the shift as appropriate

• Professionally and promptly, respond to all customer concerns or issues
• Efficiently resolve conflicts among associates and between customers and associates
• Enforce compliance with safety policies and regulations
• Communicate with upper management regarding operations and personnel
• Building sales and profits by promoting Guest satisfaction and managing restaurant operations
• Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local laws
• Other duties as assigned.
• As a Shift Supervisor/Cashier you will be required to use and navigate a POS terminal to assist in writing the customers requested bet ticket.
• Be able to explain and assist the customers in answering any betting related questions.

Perform assigned tasks calmly, quickly, and accurately in a high-stress, time-sensitive environment

Speak, read and write English.

Be able to solve problems and deal with a variety of situations

Possess good verbal and written communication skills

Possess good customer service and leadership skills

Must pass a proficiency test on specific Sports Book wagering machines after a training period

Prior cash handling experience preferred

Must possess good math skills

Must be proficient with Microsoft Office software

Two years of supervisor’s experience preferred

High School diploma or GED required
