Restaurant Supervisor - Legends at The Central Park Boathouse (New York, NY)
The Role

The Restaurant Supervisor position is responsible for supporting all food and beverage operations.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in staffing, scheduling, training, and counseling of staff
  • Directly managing staff while having direct interaction with customers
  • Maintain and control high volume food and beverage inventory
  • Train, educate, and enforce responsible service of alcoholic beverages and evaluate compliance within corporate procedures
  • Develop and enforce standards for service, sanitation, and product and food quality
  • Ensure all cash handling procedures are documented and enforced
  • Interact with co-workers to ensure compliance with company service standards, inventory, and cash control procedures
  • Conduct physical inventory audits and perform reconciliations
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent; some college preferred
  • All applicants must be at least 18 years old
  • Strong attention to detail, highly organized with excellent time management and prioritization skills
  • Must meet state and city health requirements for food handling and alcohol service
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • Fluent in English
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and work extended hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Sufficient mobility for physical tasks such as reaching, bending, and pushing
Compensation

$24/hour, Part-Time
