Goleta Valley Cottage Hospital is seeking a per diem Relief Admin Nursing Supervisor to oversee the delivery of quality patient care and ensure adherence to Cottage Health policies and procedures, directing and evaluating the care delivery of others to guarantee continuity and excellence. The role requires a BSN (or active BSN enrollment) with three years of RN leadership in acute care, California RN license, and current BLS and ACLS.

PALS is preferred.

Job Description

Goleta Valley Cottage Hospital is seeking a per diem Relief Admin Nursing Supervisor. This position oversees the delivery of quality patient care following Cottage Health and department-specific policies and procedures, as well as directing and evaluating the care delivery of others to ensure continuity and quality.

QUALIFICATIONS

Level of Education

Minimum:Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or current enrollment in a BSN program with an anticipated graduation date within an established timeframe.

Preferred: Masters Degree or equivalent of education and experience.

Certifications, Licenses, Registrations

Minimum:Current California Registered Nurse license
American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS)
American Heart Association (AHA) Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).

Preferred: American Heart Association (AHA) Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS).

Technical Requirements

Minimum: Knowledge of licensing and accrediting requirements. Experience with Microsoft office products (i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).

Years of Related Work Experience

Minimum: Three (3) years of Registered Nurse leadership experience in an acute care area.

Preferred: Three (3) years of demonstrated leadership experience of increasingly greater responsibility in an acute care hospital

*Pay for non-physician positions is determined based on related years of experience and internal equity. Eligible employees may also receive additional forms of compensation, including shift differentials, on-call pay, incentive pay, and bonus opportunities, where applicable. Manager and above positions may participate in Cottage Health’s annual management incentive program. Physician compensation is determined based upon specialty and may include bonus potential.
