Job summary

Mercy is seeking a Rehabilitation leader to direct and supervise delivery of rehabilitation procedures in the Acute Therapy Departments. You will work under the Medical Director and the Department Manager to ensure services comply with standards and regulations.

A licensed professional will oversee a multidisciplinary team. Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor's in Physical Therapy, with licensure in the state and CPR certification; Master's/Doctorate preferred and 3 years of clinical experience

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy required.

Responsibilities

• Directs, coordinates, and supervises rehabilitation procedures in Acute Therapy Departments.

Overview

Directs, coordinates and supervises the delivery of rehabilitation procedures in the Acute Therapy Departments and the activities of personnel involved in providing these services. Under the supervision of the Medical Director and the Manager of the Department of Inpatient Rehab, is responsible for the provision of services in accordance with Medical Center standards, and state, federal and local regulations. Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values and mercy service standards.

Position Details

• Education: Bachelor's in Physical Therapy
• Licensure: Must be a licensed Occupational Therapist, Speech Language Pathologist, or Physical Therapist with a current license in state of practice.
• Experience:
• Certifications: Registered Occupational Therapist, Speech Language Pathologist, or Physical Therapist. CPR Certified
• Other:
• Preferred Education: Master's or Doctorate degree
• Preferred Experience: Three years of clinical experience preferred
