Mercy seeks a Rehabilitation Director to oversee and coordinate rehabilitation services in the Acute Therapy Departments. You will supervise staff and ensure care delivery aligns with Mercy standards and regulatory requirements.

The role emphasizes licensed professionals (OT/SLP/PT) with CPR certification and preferred advanced degrees, aiming to uphold high-quality patient outcomes across Mercy facilities.

Competenze

• Bachelor's in Physical Therapy required.
• Licensed in state of practice as OT, SLP, or PT.
• CPR certification required.
• Master's or Doctorate degree preferred.
• Three years of clinical experience preferred.

Overview

Directs, coordinates and supervises the delivery of rehabilitation procedures in the Acute Therapy Departments and the activities of personnel involved in providing these services. Under the supervision of the Medical Director and the Manager of the Department of Inpatient Rehab, is responsible for the provision of services in accordance with Medical Center standards, and state, federal and local regulations. Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values and mercy service standards.

Position Details

• Education: Bachelor's in Physical Therapy
• Licensure: Must be a licensed Occupational Therapist, Speech Language Pathologist, or Physical Therapist with a current license in state of practice.
• Experience:
• Certifications: Registered Occupational Therapist, Speech Language Pathologist, or Physical Therapist. CPR Certified
• Other:
• Preferred Education: Master's or Doctorate degree
• Preferred Experience: Three years of clinical experience preferred
