Job summary

Mercy is seeking a Rehabilitation Services Director to oversee therapy delivery in the Acute Therapy Departments. You will direct, coordinate and supervise personnel to ensure services meet Medical Center standards and regulatory requirements.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Physical Therapy with a current license in the state, and prefers a Master's/Doctorate plus three years of clinical experience. CPR certification is required.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current license in OT, SLP, or PT in the state of practice.
• Bachelor's in Physical Therapy required.
• Preferred: Master's or Doctorate; three years clinical experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Directs, coordinates and supervises the delivery of rehabilitation procedures in the Acute Therapy Departments.
• Ensures services comply with state, federal and local regulations and Medical Center standards.
• Supervises personnel involved in providing rehabilitation services.

Overview

Directs, coordinates and supervises the delivery of rehabilitation procedures in the Acute Therapy Departments and the activities of personnel involved in providing these services. Under the supervision of the Medical Director and the Manager of the Department of Inpatient Rehab, is responsible for the provision of services in accordance with Medical Center standards, and state, federal and local regulations. Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values and mercy service standards.

Position Details

• Education: Bachelor's in Physical Therapy
• Licensure: Must be a licensed Occupational Therapist, Speech Language Pathologist, or Physical Therapist with a current license in state of practice.
• Experience:
• Certifications: Registered Occupational Therapist, Speech Language Pathologist, or Physical Therapist. CPR Certified
• Other:
• Preferred Education: Master's or Doctorate degree
• Preferred Experience: Three years of clinical experience preferred
