Job summary

Mercy in Missouri invites applications for a leadership role that directs, coordinates and supervises rehabilitation procedures within the Acute Therapy Departments. The position requires a current license in occupational therapy, physical therapy, or speech-language pathology, and reports to the Medical Director and Department Manager.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor's in Physical Therapy, with preferred Master's or Doctorate and at least three years of clinical experience.

• Licensed to practice in Missouri; OT/SLP/PT with current license.
• Education: Bachelor's in Physical Therapy.
• Preferred Education: Master's or Doctorate degree.
• Preferred Experience: Three years of clinical experience.

Overview

Directs, coordinates and supervises the delivery of rehabilitation procedures in the Acute Therapy Departments and the activities of personnel involved in providing these services. Under the supervision of the Medical Director and the Manager of the Department of Inpatient Rehab, is responsible for the provision of services in accordance with Medical Center standards, and state, federal and local regulations. Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values and mercy service standards.

Position Details

• Education: Bachelor's in Physical Therapy
• Licensure: Must be a licensed Occupational Therapist, Speech Language Pathologist, or Physical Therapist with a current license in state of practice.
• Experience:
• Certifications: Registered Occupational Therapist, Speech Language Pathologist, or Physical Therapist. CPR Certified
• Other:
• Preferred Education: Master's or Doctorate degree
• Preferred Experience: Three years of clinical experience preferred
