Job summary

Mercy in Missouri seeks a Director of Rehabilitation to lead and supervise the delivery of rehab services in the Acute Therapy Departments. You will coordinate clinical teams and ensure compliance with medical center standards and regulatory requirements.

The role emphasizes leadership, clinical governance, and collaboration with the Medical Director and department manager to shape patient care and operational excellence. Licensure in PT, OT, or SLP is required, with advanced degree preferred.

Qualifications

• Must hold license in state of practice as OT, SLP or PT.
• Three years of clinical experience preferred.
• Certifications: Registered OT, SLP, or PT. CPR Certified.

Overview

Under the supervision of the Medical Director and the Manager of the Department of Inpatient Rehab, is responsible for the provision of services in accordance with Medical Center standards, and state, federal and local regulations. Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values and mercy service standards.

Position Details

• Education: Bachelor's in Physical Therapy
• Licensure: Must be a licensed Occupational Therapist, Speech Language Pathologist, or Physical Therapist with a current license in state of practice.
• Experience:
• Certifications: Registered Occupational Therapist, Speech Language Pathologist, or Physical Therapist. CPR Certified
• Other:
• Preferred Education: Master's or Doctorate degree
• Preferred Experience: Three years of clinical experience preferred
